“Leveraging for Brownfields Revitalization” Webinar Series

The Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization (OBLR) has developed a webinar series to educate local leaders and provide tips on leveraging available resources for brownfield revitalization.

Each webinar will provide information to help communities develop effective strategies to garner support for local brownfield projects and use existing resources to secure additional funding.

The first webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, July 26 at 12:00 CT, and registration is now open for all three webinars in the series. The webinar schedule is as follows:

 

“Leveraging Resources for Brownfields Revitalization” 

July 26, 2016 12:00 – 1:30 PM CT               

This first webinar will focus on the various tools available to communities seeking brownfield revitalization. It will also discuss the challenges many communities face in realizing brownfield goals. Speakers will present the success story of Dubuque, Iowa, a city which leveraged its own existing resources to multiply funds by attracting support from federal, state, and private funding and technical assistance.
