Join PPM at Air and Waste Management Association’s 109th Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE) June 20-23 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

You won’t want to miss the industry’s best professional development, exhibits and networking opportunities!

Speakers

Keynote speaker for the event is Acting Deputy Administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) A. Stanley Meiburg.  He will be joined by a panel of industry experts, including:

  • Chuck Barlow, Vice President , Environmental Strategy and Policy for Entergy Corporation,
  • Kim Greene, Chief Operating Officer for Southern Company and
  • Vickie Patton, General Counsel for the Environmental Defense Fund.

Technical Sessions

ACE 2016 will offer over 400 technical presentations by industry experts. PPM is honored to be among these presenters, and proud of Karen Brignac, PPM’s own environmental compliance manager, who has served as the Technical Program Vice Chair of ACE 2016.

Brignac explains, “This year’s theme of ‘Unmasking the Industrial Renaissance’ was designed to showcase the industrial growth occurring due to the increased availability and lower price of natural gas and address the challenges of managing the environmental impacts from the increased activity.” The conference illustrates this with sessions on industries such as oil and gas and electric power generation.

Brignac continued, “We have many presentations of case studies that will provide real-world compliance strategies that will be of particular interest to industrial environmental managers and staff.”

Brignac has assisted in developing a series of valuable program sessions to benefit professionals in the air and waste industries.  Make plans now to attend the Mini Symposium on industrial growth and environmental stewardship. This symposium will cover permitting initiatives, EPA priorities in 2016 and 2017, risk management and more.
